Iran Reports Strike on US Base in Bahrain, Amid Widespread Retaliatory Strikes.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Bahrain, as Iran launched strikes throughout the Middle East in response for a significant and continuing attack against it by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an area close to the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The full scale of any destruction is not yet known and the American officials has remained silent.
Airspace Engagements
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, Qatar and the State of Kuwait - each hosting US military bases - reported they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their airspace.
In Doha, Qatar's defence ministry stated it had intercepted several missiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American base in the region.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was attacking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the attack on Iran carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That preceding assault - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck locations associated with the the regime, with President Trump encouraging the Iranian people to revolt against the government.

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israeli military said it had identified an incoming Iranian missile barrage.
The defence ministry of the UAE stated that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses dealt with the missiles with great effectiveness and shot down a series of missiles," it added.
It said debris fell on a neighborhood in Abu Dhabi, causing some material damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
