JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not entirely an original feature. Instead, the recent cinematic release from the Jujutsu Kaisen action franchise acts as a recap of the series' second installment combined with the initial episodes of its upcoming season, which kicks off the Culling Games storyline from the source material. This positions Execution, which has been given a latest teaser, the quickest way to watch the start of the upcoming season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The feature launches in Japan on Nov. 7, and in the United States and Canada on December 5.

The Culling Games Arc

In the Culling Game arc, Top-tier jujutsu user Yuta Okkotsu is introduced in the show and is charged by sorcery authorities to eliminate his peer Yuji Itadori. Their much-anticipated fight takes place for the first time on the cinema screen, and if the animation team at the studio have an exceptional piece as episodes 40 and 41 in store for viewers this holiday season, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may turn out to be the surprise that we've been waiting for.

The Thunderclap Issue
