Numerous top clubs, including Manchester City and several European giants including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, are believed to be interested. Yet, a winter departure remains unlikely, especially given the manager's dependence on the defender.

Brennan Johnson

The Wales winger has found starting opportunities limited at Tottenham this campaign. Although being the club's leading goalscorer the previous campaign, he has started just a handful of league matches. It is understood the London outfit is open to a sale for the correct price, believed to be in the around forty million pounds. The Cherries are currently at the front of the queue, with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Brentford also credited with an inquiry.

R. Neves

The Portugal midfielder might be set for a return to the Premier League after a spell in the Saudi Pro League. Now just twenty-eight, while his agreement ending in the summer of 2026, he is a potential bargain. Clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United are connected to the former Wolves man. Furthermore, there are rumours from Spanish media that he would be willing to take a reduced salary for a move to the Spanish giants.

Marc-André ter Stegen

This experienced Germany goalkeeper is now as third-choice at Barça following new manager Flick. Having fallen out of favour and had an operation, a January departure looks highly probable. Aston Villa were initially linked as a potential suitor, but that option currently seems unlikely. Instead, clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are reportedly expressing interest in the keeper.

Ivan Toney

This prolific England striker has kept scoring frequently in Saudi Arabia. A return to the Premier League might boost his dwindling hopes of making the national World Cup. But, arranging a deal poses major challenges. Al-Ahli do not wish to part with him, and his reported huge salary render any move difficult. Tottenham, Manchester United, and Everton have all been linked as admirers.

The highly-touted Dutch teenage midfielder has drawn comparisons to a Belgian superstar for his playing style. After starring at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar side. This 19-year-old is widely expected to complete a big-money transfer in January. Newcastle reportedly are leading the chase, but are facing stiff competition from Real Madrid for a deal priced at around £22 million.
